Без преувеличения футбол – игра номер один в мире. Чемпионат мира по футболу самое популярное и ожидаемое событие в мире спорта. Да и вообще, для огромного количества фанатов следующий матч любимой команды важная часть жизни. Однако зачастую мы не задумываемся о том, откуда появился футбол и что история футбола насчитывает не десятки и даже не сотни лет, а целые века или может тысячелетия. Так давайте окунемся в прошлое и посмотрим откуда берет начало его величество футбол!
На заре игры номер один.
Еще в древнем мире люди осознали, что могут проводить различные манипуляции с подручными предметами. Так появилось колесо, топор, огниво и что-то похожее на мяч. При этом человек постепенно осознавал, что не все его изобретения должны быть использованы для необходимых в быту действий. Некоторые из них могут использоваться просто для развлечения. Так стали появляться похожие на современный спорт развлечения. Люди делились на команды и пробовали забить гол.
Снаряд из каучука был найден в местах обитания индейцев Южной Америки. Раскопки древнеегипетских гробниц показали, что среди посмертного имущества фараонов были и мячи. В Древнем Риме играли в игру, напоминающую футбол – гарпаструм. Похожие состязания были и в древнем Китае, Греции и Японии. На Руси простой люд гонял кожаный мяч, набитый перьями. Во Флоренции на импровизированном поле играли в похожую на футбол игру под названием кальчио.
Родина футбола.
Все же родоначальницей футбола в современном его понимании является Англия. Древние рукописи сохранили память о древнейших футбольных матчах, относящихся к третьему веку нашей эры. Правда, тогдашний футбол больше походил на побоище стенка на стенку.
Обычно в таких матчах участвовали до пятисот человек с обеих сторон. Задачей было пронести мяч из одного конца города в другой. Нередко такие развлечения приводили к массовым дракам и страшным травмам. Поэтому репутация таких развлечений при царском дворе была не очень позитивной и власти пытались запрещать населению проводить время за такими недостойными с их точки зрения занятиями.
Со временем футбол приобретал все более цивилизованные черты и появлялось примерное понимание необходимых правил для игры. Начало девятнадцатого века является временем бурного развития футбола в его современном понимании. К тридцатым годам века популярность игры почти была равна крикету, но еще большему развитию мешало отсутствие свода единых правил. Первой попыткой их установления являлась встреча представителей колледжей, которая произошла в 1846 году. Местом ее проведения стал Кембридж. Там и был утвержден единый свод правил, но утвердила его футбольная ассоциация только к 1983 году.
В 1857 году появилась первая профессиональная футбольная команда – «Шеффилд». Через пятнадцать лет организован старейший из ныне действующих футбольных соревнований – Кубок Англии. К концу века число футбольных команд Великобритании перевалило за сотню и растет до сих пор.
Международное становление футбола.
В 1872 году прошел первый матч международного уровня, в нем встретились английская и шотландская сборные, голов соперники не забили. За пределами Великобритании первая международная встреча прошла в 1901 году в Монтевидео, хозяева принимали команду Аргентины, но уступили 3:2.
В 1904 году состоялось поворотное событие для истории рассматриваемого вида спорта. Основана международная футбольная федерация – ФИФА, изначально в нее входили всего 7 стран, но сейчас она является одной из самых могущественных спортивных организаций планеты.
Значительное влияние в закреплении ведущего статуса футбола в международном спорте внесли французы. Первым президентом ФИФА стал представитель этой нации Жюль Риме. Он предложил идею проведения мировых чемпионатов, а другой – журналист Габриель Ано — Кубка Чемпионов Европы (нынешняя Лига Чемпионов УЕФА).
В 1908 году футбол становится олимпийским видом. До 1930 года олимпиады были главным международным турниром, а победы Уругвая на Олимпиадах 1924 и 1928 годов приравнены по своему статусу к мировым чемпионствам среди любителей.
В 1930 году пальму первенства у олимпиад перехватили мировые первенства. Первое из которых прошло в Уругвае и было приурочено к 100-летней годовщине независимости этого государства. В первом Чемпионате Мира приняли участие 13 стран. С каждым следующим турниром количество участников росло и сейчас сборные всех стран стремятся попасть на мундиаль, преодолев многоэтапный отборочный турнир.
В 1955 году был проведен первый розыгрыш турнира, в дальнейшем ставшего величайшим футбольным брендом – Кубок Чемпионов УЕФА. В турнире приняли участие сильнейшие представители ведущих футбольных держав Европы. На сегодняшний день победитель Лиги Чемпионов неофициально считается сильнейшим клубом мира.
Кроме мысли проведения турнира чемпионов своих стран Габриелю Ано также принадлежит идея вручения награды лучшему игроку года в Европе – «Золотого мяча». Интересно, что за время вручения этого приза его получали трое советских спортсменов: Лев Яшин, Олег Блохин и Игорь Беланов. А Лев Иванович до сих пор является единственным представителем вратарского амплуа, который удостаивался этой почетной награды.
Современный этап развития.
За свою историю футбол прошел путь от обычного пинания округлого предмета до огромной индустрии, в которой крутятся колоссальные деньги. Для многих футбол стал почти религией, ему посвящают книги, стихи, фильмы и песни.
Чемпионаты мира, Европы и других континентов привлекают к экранам телевизоров миллиарды людей. Кто победит в Лиге Чемпионов: Реал или Барселона, Челси или Манчестер, Бавария или Ювентус? Этим вопросом интересуются все без исключения. Споры о том, кто же лучше, Месси или Роналдо, давно вышли за пределы споров о футболе и являются чем-то большим. Но что же делает его таким знаменитым? Наверное простота, увлекательность и доступность, ведь в футбол могут играть все подряд, когда, где и чем захотят.
Да уж, футбол действительно почти религия. Не зря Энтони Берджесс говорил, что можно сменить дом, семью, работу, машину, но не футбольный клуб за который болеешь
